What works at elementary school level

Pick something that finishes in one sitting and has an obvious, visible result. An adult should read the safety section first and stay nearby for anything involving heat, and children this age usually need help with the write-up.

For parents and teachers

Each project page carries an at-a-glance panel with a cost estimate, a realistic time estimate, the hazards involved and whether adult supervision is required, so you can check suitability before any materials are bought.
